Ingredients

  • 400 g chicken hearts
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp sumac
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate molasse
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • Sunflower oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Put the chicken hearts in a bowl, with the garlic, sumac, chilli flakes, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and marinate for 30 mins.
  2. Heat a bit of oil in a large pan. Cook the chicken hearts for about 5 mins, stirring often, until they start browning.
  3. Add the molasse, coriander and spring onions. Continue cooking for about 2 mins.
  4. Serve hot and enjoy!
